Pineapple fruit is a bird delicacy. Pineapple is a good source of vitamin C, and additionally contains manganese and thiamine, as well as other numerous vitamins and minerals, e.g. vitamin A, PP, B2 and B6. Due to the sugar content, it should be served in moderation.
